Erzincan Organized Industrial Zone expands production and exports

The Erzincan Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) is driving economic growth through 86 factories operating across 12 different sectors, including food, construction, and textiles. According to Regional Manager Ömer Faruk Nayman, the zone employs approximately 1,400 people, a significant portion of whom are women.

The region has established a strong export presence, reaching markets in the European Union, China, South Korea, Japan, and the United States. Nayman noted that the zone maintains one of the highest export rates in the region and benefits from 6th Region incentives, which provide advantages for investors.

Efforts are currently underway to establish a ‘Green OSB’ status. Once certified by the Ministry, this designation is expected to facilitate easier exports to European Union countries. Erzincan Governor Hamza Aydoğdu highlighted the city's expanding role in production and employment, stating that the region is growing and opening up to the world.
