Erzincan tea house transformed into antique museum
In Erzincan, Turkey, 38-year-old Ahmet Duman has turned a tea house located in the courtyard of the Bilal-i Habeşi Mosque into a space resembling a museum. Over the past decade, Duman has traveled through various villages to collect hundreds of antique items, driven by a childhood passion.
The collection includes items over 100 years old, such as wooden plows, coal irons, old radios, gramophone records, gas lamps, and wind-up wall clocks. The establishment has become a point of interest for local residents and visitors from outside the city, offering a nostalgic experience.
Duman expressed his ambition to eventually transform the collection into a formal museum to preserve these historical pieces for future generations.
