Erzincan to receive $100 million industrial investment creating 1,000 jobs

Iranian businessman and company CEO Umut Kaya announced a $100 million investment in the Erzincan Organize Sanayi Bölgesi. The plan includes building six factories that will produce copper pipe, copper wire, aluminum wire and ventilation and cooling machines. The facilities are expected to employ roughly 1,000 workers directly, with additional jobs in logistics, supply and ancillary industries.

Kaya said the products will be sold in the Turkish market and exported abroad, citing Germany and Italy as key destinations. He highlighted the local support that led to choosing Erzincan, thanking chamber president Ahmet Tanoğlu. Kaya added, "Allah'ın izniyle burada bin kişi çalışacak," and expressed hope that "Erzincan’dan Türkiye'ye ve dünyanın farklı ülkelerine ihracat gerçekleştireceğiz." Production is targeted to start within a year of the investment.
