Erzincan TSO seeks increased credit limits and new financing phases for businesses
The Erzincan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO) is seeking increased financial support for local businesses following the implementation of the second phase of the Nefes Kredisi credit program. Ahmet Tanoğlu, Chairman of the Erzincan TSO, met with local bank managers to discuss the difficulties businesses face in accessing finance under current economic conditions.
During the discussions, concerns were raised regarding low credit approval rates and insufficient limits provided by banks. Tanoğlu emphasized that access to appropriate financing is critical for maintaining production, trade, and employment capacities.
In response to these challenges, the Erzincan TSO has formally submitted requests to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). The requests include increasing existing credit limits, activating a third phase of the Nefes Kredisi, and evaluating the Chamber's own cash resources to create credit limits for its members.
