Erzurum agricultural authorities urge farmers to update records for pesticide access
The Erzurum Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has issued a warning to farmers regarding the importance of maintaining updated records to ensure uninterrupted access to agricultural pesticides through the B-Reçete system.
The B-Reçete infrastructure operates by integrating three major databases used for the digital tracking of agricultural production: the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS), the Village-Based Product Registration System (KOBÜKS), and the Agricultural Production Registration System (TÜKAS). Because prescriptions are generated based on the specific area and product information registered in these systems, inaccuracies can lead to supply delays and mismatches.
To prevent difficulties in procuring pesticides, authorities have outlined three essential requirements for producers: ensuring all ÇKS, KOBÜKS, and TÜKAS records are current; providing accurate declarations of cultivated areas and specific products; and maintaining up-to-date contact information, particularly mobile phone numbers. Officials emphasized that these updates are critical for maintaining agricultural productivity and sustainability.
