Erzurum agricultural officials launch field outreach for farmers

The Erzurum Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has launched the 'Cuma Buluşmaları' (Friday Meetings) project to engage directly with local producers. Technical teams from provincial and district directorates are meeting with farmers in villages and neighborhoods following Friday prayers to provide field-based guidance.

The initiative focuses on two primary areas: Agricultural Production Planning and the upcoming application processes for the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS). Experts are providing information on sustainable production methods, including planting, maintenance, and harvest schedules, as well as details regarding new state support models.

Through these meetings, officials are also collecting direct feedback from producers regarding their needs and challenges. The Directorate stated that these information and inspection activities will continue throughout the entire production season to strengthen local agricultural output.
