Erzurum Chamber of Commerce hosts seminar on AI and digital transformation in finance

The Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ETSO) hosted a seminar titled “How Will Artificial Intelligence Change the World of Finance?” organized by the TOBB Erzurum Young Entrepreneurs Board. Led by Ismail Suci, the event focused on the digital transformation of the financial sector and the impact of AI applications.

Finance expert Mert Basaran served as the keynote speaker, discussing how financial technologies affect business models, data analytics, and AI-supported decision-making mechanisms. The presentation covered application areas, risk management, and the opportunities and challenges arising from automation in investment processes. The seminar also emphasized the importance of strengthening financial literacy and planning digital transformation roadmaps for institutions.

The event was attended by local officials, academics, and business leaders, including Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Hüseyin Koçan and various provincial directors. The program concluded with an interactive Q&A session where participants discussed financial technology investments and digital transformation processes.
