Erzurum family preserves 70-year-old heirloom tricycle

A 70-year-old tricycle in Erzurum, Turkey, has become a cherished family heirloom, passed down through three generations. Manufactured in Istanbul in 1957 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its factory's founding, the vehicle is made of metal, wood, and rubber.

Originally purchased by Neccar Yavuz Kırküzer’s father from a professor at Atatürk University, the tricycle was used by Kırküzer during his childhood and subsequently by his three sons. Today, the 56-year-old Kırküzer has passed the tricycle to his 7-year-old daughter, Zehra Betül Kırküzer, who continues to ride it as a symbol of the family's shared history.
