Erzurum political leader calls for fairer rural investment

Yücel Ahmet İşleyen, the Erzurum Provincial Chairman of the Anahtar Party, has called for a more equitable distribution of public investments across the Erzurum province. He argued that investments should not be concentrated solely in the city center but must extend to rural neighborhoods and various districts.

İşleyen highlighted that districts such as Oltu, Olur, Şenkaya, Tortum, Uzundere, Narman, Horasan, Pasinler, Hınıs, Karaçoban, Tekman, Karayazı, Çat, Aşkale, İspir, and Pazaryolu require increased investment in infrastructure, transportation, agriculture, health, and education. He stated that strengthening rural areas is essential to reducing migration and increasing production, asserting that “strong districts, strong rural areas, and strong production are the foundation of a strong Erzurum.”
