Erzurum's Söğütlü cabbage becomes a regional brand

In the Aziziye district of Erzurum, the Söğütlü neighborhood has become a significant regional brand for cabbage production. Approximately 1 million cabbages are cultivated annually in the area.

The produce, characterized by thin leaves, is distributed across Turkey, including the Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia, and Southeastern Anatolia regions, with notable demand in cities like Bursa. The cabbages vary in weight from 15 to 45 kilograms and are sold at prices ranging from 100 to 200 TL depending on their size.
