Es Devlin hosts first European retrospective at London Design Museum

British artist and designer Es Devlin is presenting her first European retrospective, titled ‘Es Devlin: Other Worlds’, at London’s Design Museum. The exhibition traces three decades of her work spanning theatre, opera, concert stage design, and large-scale public installations.

The showcase includes a recreation of Devlin’s studio in Peckham, featuring her books, models, and tools, alongside works such as ‘Come Home Again’, an installation originally presented outside the Tate Modern in 2022. A companion book, which Devlin describes as a seven-year project containing her entire body of work, accompanies the exhibition to demystify her creative process.
