Krim and Budućnost suffer handball defeats as Ub wins volleyball Supercup

In European women’s handball, Krim OTP Group Mercator suffered its fourth consecutive defeat in the Champions League after losing 25:28 to Brest. Despite a strong defensive performance and keeping the score close until the 35th minute, the Slovenian team struggled to close out the match. Coach Rasmus Poulsen noted that while the result was disappointing, the team is showing growth.

In the same competition, Budućnost faced a 27:21 defeat against Esbjerg in Denmark. Although the match was tied at 13:13 at halftime, Esbjerg took control in the second half, aided by a red card for Nina Bulatović. Budućnost’s Andrea Škerović recorded 11 saves in goal.

In Serbian volleyball, Ub secured the Serbian Supercup by defeating TENT 3:0 in Mionica. The victory marks the second Supercup in the club’s history, with coach Milan Gršić praising the team’s control and minimal errors throughout the match.
