Escaldes-Engordany inaugurates new art workshops and heritage murals
Escaldes-Engordany has launched several cultural initiatives aimed at preserving local heritage and supporting the arts. The municipality inaugurated new facilities in Fener for textile and glass art workshops. These spaces, which were relocated from Caldea due to ongoing hotel construction, include a multipurpose room for lectures and conferences. The workshops currently serve 100 students and are preparing for the XV Textile Days in October.
Additionally, the Projecte Caldes has introduced new murals by artist Samanta Bosqueque. The artwork commemorates the historical memory of the area's former thermal water laundries and the women who used them in the early 20th century. The project includes new lighting for the murals and surrounding bridges to enhance the area's heritage and artistic value at night.
