Escape the Backrooms announces After Party update

Escape the Backrooms Secret Mode Fancy Games After Party update cooperative horror

Publisher Secret Mode has announced the ‘After Party’ update for the cooperative horror game Escape the Backrooms, scheduled for release in December. Developed by Fancy Games, the update will introduce three new levels and various character skins.

While the update features a party theme, including elements like cake, players must still navigate the game’s signature horror by escaping entities within the Backrooms. The update supports one to four players. Ahead of the December launch, a selection of both free and paid cosmetics is expected to arrive in October.

Since entering Early Access in 2022, Escape the Backrooms has been played by more than 12 million people. The game is currently available on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
