EscapeTruck educational project to tour Silesian cities

The EscapeTruck, a mobile educational escape room, is launching a tour across several Polish cities to raise awareness about human trafficking and forced labor. The specially designed truck features an interior that recreates the conditions faced by victims, requiring participants to solve puzzles and logical tasks based on real-life scenarios.

Developed in collaboration with the Dutch Reshape Foundation, the project aims to demonstrate how criminals recruit and control victims, particularly through deceptive job offers abroad. The initiative is an international effort involving the Polish Police, the Border Guard, the Ministry of Interior and Administration, the University of Wrocław, and partners from the Netherlands, including the Dutch police and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The tour will visit Ruda Śląska, Tarnowskie Góry, Tychy, Bielsko-Biała, and Pszczyna. The Silesian leg begins in Ruda Śląska on October 23, with the national finale scheduled for October 27 in Pszczyna. Educational booths staffed by police and Border Guard officers will be available to provide safety information and guidance on how to respond to potential trafficking situations.
