Escobar expands higher education with new technology degrees

The Polo de Educación Superior (PES) in Escobar has opened pre-registration for two new university technical degrees scheduled to begin in the 2027 academic cycle. These programs, offered through an agreement with the Universidad Nacional de Hurlingham (UNAHUR), are the University Technician in Video Game Programming and the University Technician in Networks and IT Operations.

Pre-registration is available until September 30 and is open to both the general public and students currently in their final year of secondary school. Those who complete the pre-registration process must attend a University Preparation Course (CPU) scheduled from October to December 2026 before starting their formal coursework.

The Network and IT Operations program focuses on the administration and protection of computer systems, while the Video Game Programming degree centers on software development, logic, and creation within the digital entertainment sector. Both programs aim to provide technical training for rapid entry into the technology and knowledge economy sectors.
