Escobar municipality opens registration for third Jornada Solidaria

The municipality of Escobar, Argentina, announced that registration is now open for its third "Jornada Solidaria" volunteer event, scheduled for Saturday, 1 August. Residents can sign up via the Escobar 360 portal.

The initiative, which follows two successful editions that attracted nearly 1,000 participants, will see volunteers work from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on tasks such as painting, general maintenance and improvements at schools, clubs, plazas, senior centres and other local institutions. The municipality will supply materials, tools and overall coordination.

Locations include the Maquinista Savio senior centre, several primary and secondary schools in Maquinista Savio, Garín and Matheu, the Plaza El Candil, the Villa Vallier cultural‑sports society, the Lambaré club in Ingeniero Maschwitz and the Loma Verde nursery, among others.
