Escola de Coimbra opens delegation in Rio de Janeiro
The Escola de Coimbra, an advanced training department of the Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT), is establishing a delegation in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This initiative is being conducted in partnership with the Regional Administration Council of Rio de Janeiro (CRA-RJ).
The program aims to train business leaders, managers, and professionals from both the public and private sectors in Portugal and Brazil. Course topics will focus on business ethics, compliance, risk control, prevention of irregularities, and conflicts of interest. The educational offerings will include various training sessions, postgraduate programs, and MBAs.
According to Manuel Castelo Branco, president of ISMT, the goal is to develop real tools to combat corruption in both sectors while building a business network between investors in Rio de Janeiro and the Coimbra region. The first training session is scheduled for December, with four additional editions planned through June 2027. The delegation will be based at the Universidade Corporativa do Administrador.
