Escola do SUAS celebrates five years and 8,300 trained workers

The Municipal School of the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS) in Campo Grande has reached its five-year milestone, having trained 8,303 workers through 275 educational actions. The results were highlighted during the closing of the I Colloquium 'Entre Saberes e Práticas', which featured 14 postgraduate research studies conducted by social assistance network employees.

These studies addressed critical issues such as gender violence and mental health in the workplace, aiming to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and the practical realities of municipal services. The school, a decentralized unit of the Secretariat of Social Assistance and Citizenship (SAS), focuses on the continuous education of professionals, managers, and rights counselors to improve social assistance practices.
