Escola Juvenil students to design 40th anniversary commemorative stamp
Students at the Escola Municipal Juvenil da Cunha Colares in Sombrio are participating in a project to create a commemorative stamp marking the school’s 40th anniversary. Through the ‘Conectando Saberes’ project, students from preschool to the 9th grade will compete in a drawing contest. The winning artwork will be transformed into an official Correios stamp.
In addition to the art competition, the initiative focuses on literacy and communication. Students will engage in reading, writing, and letter-writing activities, including exchanging correspondence with other schools across different Brazilian states to share their school’s history and identity.
