Escola Municipal de Música do Porriño to begin classes on September 14

The Escola Municipal de Música do Porriño is preparing to begin its 2026/2027 academic year on Monday, September 14. Classes will be held at the Centro Cívico facilities located on Avenida Domingo Bueno.

On September 1, the list of enrolled students, including their assigned days and times, will be posted at the Municipal Music School and the entrance of the Municipal Cultural Center. Between September 7 and September 11, students will select their specific instrument schedules. This selection process will follow the order of enrollment established in June, and students are encouraged to bring multiple time options to expedite the process.

New enrollments for any specialties with remaining vacancies will be accepted from Friday, September 11, through Wednesday, September 30. The school offers a wide range of instrumental training, including violin, viola, cello, percussion, guitar, piano, singing, bagpipes, and various wind instruments, as well as musical language and movement programs.
