Escuela de Actividades Culturales celebrates 30 years in Chacabuco

The Escuela de Actividades Culturales (EAC) in Chacabuco is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Director Marci Arabia reported that the institution currently serves approximately 2,500 students, with enrollment occasionally exceeding 3,000 participants during peak periods.

In addition to traditional cultural and sports activities, the EAC has recently introduced workshops such as crochet, children's computing, and mobile phone usage and security, the latter specifically designed to assist older adults with digital literacy. The institution is currently preparing for year-end exhibitions and upcoming carnival projects.

Vacancies remain available for several current workshops, including drums, chess, cooking, home electricity, window decoration, sculpture, emotion management, marketing, crafts, poetry, and literature. Interested residents can register at Avellaneda 127.
