Escuela de Oficios opens new training center in Santo Tomé

A new branch of the Escuela de Oficios has been inaugurated in Santo Tomé, expanding the free vocational training network within the province of Corrientes. The initiative, driven by the Frente Renovador de Corrientes, aims to increase access to labor inclusion tools and strengthen community productive capacities.

With a ten-year history, the Escuela de Oficios currently operates 20 locations across Corrientes, offering over 300 free training programs to more than 12,000 students. The new Santo Tomé site will provide over a dozen diverse courses, including services, maintenance, personal care, barbering, and cooking, designed to facilitate rapid entry into the workforce.

The inauguration was attended by provincial Senator Román Naya, provincial deputies Adriana Vidal Domínguez, Sara Aparicio, and César Lezcanoy, as well as Germán Braillard, the provincial coordinator of the school. Other attendees included national deputy Raúl Haddad and various local officials.
