Escuela de Organización Industrial celebrates 50 years of sustainability training

The Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI) marked its 50th anniversary with the event ‘EOI Generación Verde: 50 years of talent, commitment and environmental impact’. The celebration focused on the evolution of sustainability in Spain and the role of professional training in driving environmental and corporate transformation.

During the event, EOI Director General Diego Crescente emphasized the importance of talent and training in addressing environmental challenges. The program included a lecture by Teresa Parejo Navajas regarding the history of ecological awareness in Spain from 1976 to 2026, noting that the environment is deeply intertwined with the economy.

A roundtable discussion featured industry professionals including Nieves Cifuentes of Naturgy, Kepa Solaun of Global Factor, and María Ordovás of 21 gramos. The institution highlighted the impact of its alumni, who have occupied leadership roles in various organizations to implement sustainable practices over the last five decades.
