Escuela Politécnica N.º 702 implements solar energy system

Escuela Politécnica N.º 702 in Rawson, Chubut, has become the first educational institution in the provincial capital to implement a solar energy generation system. The installation was completed by the Cooperativa de Servicios Públicos, Consumo y Vivienda Rawson Ltda., utilizing equipment donated by Multisolar and Portal Solar, with labor provided by Península Energía y Servicios.

The system includes six Trina Solar panels, a Growatt inverter, and a Leoch battery for energy storage. This setup serves as a practical learning resource for students studying electricity, energy efficiency, and new technologies. The cooperative plans to host educational sessions to help students understand the technical components and the potential of solar power generation.
