Esenyurt Art Center Launches Calligraphy Exhibition by Hakan Arslan

The recently opened Esenyurt Sanat Merkezi (Esenyurt Art Center) hosted its second exhibition, "Sarîr-i Hâme (Kalemin Sesi)," showcasing traditional hüsn‑i hat (calligraphy) works by artist Hakan Arslan. The opening ceremony was attended by Esenyurt deputy mayor Yeşil Aytulum Turgut, Kızılay Esenyurt branch president Aytekin Çolak, and numerous local residents. Arslan explained the creation process and techniques behind his pieces.

The exhibition, running from 1 – 14 August, highlights the aesthetic and spiritual dimensions of calligraphy and reinforces the center’s role as the district’s first dedicated art venue, contributing to Esenyurt’s cultural life.
