Esha Deol joins cast of Malamaal Weekly 2

Actor Esha Deol and Soniya Bansal have joined the cast of ‘Malamaal Weekly 2’, a comedy film directed by Amit Joshi. The project marks a return to the comedy genre for Deol, who previously starred in films such as ‘No Entry’ and ‘Shaadi No. 1’.

Soniya Bansal, known from ‘Bigg Boss 17’, also joins the cast. The film is expected to begin production in November. While featuring a new storyline, the sequel aims to retain the thematic essence of the original 2006 film, focusing on ordinary people in a small town caught in chaotic situations driven by greed and poverty.

Other cast members reported to be part of the production include Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal, Riteish Deshmukh, and Elvish Yadav.
