ESHOT announces route changes in Bornova and new driver uniforms

ESHOT, the public transport provider for İzmir, has announced several operational updates. Due to road superstructure repair work on Beşyol Caddesi in the Bornova Beşyol neighborhood, the 316 No’lu Beşyol – Evka 3 Metro line has undergone a temporary route change effective September 7, 2026.

As part of this adjustment, four bus stops—Küme Evler, Issız, Limon Servi, and Orman İçi—will be temporarily out of service. Passengers are advised to check updated route information before traveling. Normal service is expected to resume once the roadwork is completed.

Additionally, ESHOT is introducing new professional uniforms for its drivers. Developed in collaboration with İZELMAN, the new attire focuses on comfort, safety, and seasonal functionality. The update replaces traditional formal wear with more ergonomic options, such as polo shirts, comfortable trousers, and ergonomic footwear, incorporating reflective details to improve visibility for staff during night shifts.
