ESIC launches large recruitment drive for senior medical and faculty posts in India

India's Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) issued two recruitment notifications for its medical institutions. The first, released on 16 July 2026, advertises 43 senior resident vacancies across specialties such as anaesthesiology, pathology, microbiology, cardiology and ICU. Eligible candidates must hold a PG medical degree (MD/MS/DNB) and be no older than 44 years. Walk‑in interviews are scheduled for 30 July 2026 after document verification on 29 July.

A second notice from ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Andheri East, Mumbai, invites applications for 74 contract faculty and senior resident posts, including 19 professor, 22 associate professor, 11 assistant professor, 21 senior resident and one homeopathy physician positions. The interview process is offline, with department‑wise walk‑in dates from 24 to 26 July 2026. Appointments are on a one‑year contract basis, extendable up to three years.

Both announcements aim to fill medical teaching and clinical roles on a contractual basis, targeting qualified doctors across a wide range of departments.
