Hong Kong hosts major green technology and mobile communications expos

Hong Kong is hosting two significant industry events focused on sustainability and telecommunications. The 21st Eco Expo Asia, held at AsiaWorld-Expo from October 26 to 29, 2026, features over 340 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions. Under the theme ‘Connecting the World for a Sustainable Future’, the expo showcases green technologies, including smart detection robots developed by the Environmental Protection Department and renewable energy solutions from various startups.

Simultaneously, the Hong Kong International Communications and Electronics Commerce Chamber (HKICEC) launched its first large-scale themed pavilion at the Global Sources Hong Kong Electronics Fair. Running from October 18 to 21, 2026, the pavilion hosted nearly 60 industry leaders from regions including the US, UK, Japan, and India. The event included an international forum focused on the global mobile equipment lifecycle and ESG development, aiming to strengthen Hong Kong’s role as a hub for the communications and electronics trade.
