České dráhy extends Pendolino services and updates onboard amenities

České dráhy is expanding its service offerings and testing new routes. The national carrier is extending the operation of additional direct Pendolino trains on the Prague–Opava route beyond the summer holiday season. These commercial services, operated at the company's own business risk, will run four times a week to evaluate demand among students and business travelers during the regular season.

Additionally, the carrier is enhancing the travel experience for families. Children's cinema services are currently available on 148 trains, including Pendolino, railjet, and InterJet units. Starting in September, the film program will be updated to include new titles such as ‘Konečně doma’ and ‘Čapí dobrodružství’. These amenities are available on major domestic lines and selected international connections.
