Český slavík music awards announce nominations and open voting

Organizers of the Český slavík music awards have released the nominations and opened public voting for the 2026 edition. Fans can cast their votes until midnight on November 15, with the winners to be announced during a gala ceremony on November 27 at the Forum Karlín in Prague, broadcast by TV Nova.

Key categories include Female Singer, Male Singer, Music Group, and Hip Hop & Rap. Defending her titles from the previous year are Ewa Farna in the female category and Václav Noid Bárta in the male category. The band Kabát and artist Calin are also seeking to repeat their previous successes.

A new focus for this year is the Trinity Bank Discovery of the Year category, which features a professional jury. Nominees include Charlotte Gott, Thera, Slavíček, and Gufrau. The winner of this category will receive a financial prize of 200,000 Czech koruna.
