Česká Třebová council approves football arena subsidy

The final session of the Česká Třebová municipal council for the current electoral term included several key decisions regarding investments and property. The council unanimously approved a 1.5 million CZK subsidy for the local football club, FK Česká Třebová, to help build a FIFA arena with an artificial surface. The total project cost is estimated at approximately 3.1 million CZK, with 1 million CZK provided by the Pardubice Region and the remainder covered by the club.

Additionally, the council approved a 500,000 CZK donation to the Homerun Foundation of the Pardubice Region to support local students. However, the council rejected a proposal for the transfer of the Church of St. John Nepomuk in Skuhrov and declined to purchase a retail property in Kubkova Street due to high costs and lack of municipal necessity. New council members will convene following the October municipal elections.
