Česká televize to launch new talk show featuring autistic interviewers

Česká televize is launching a new talk show format titled ‘Talk show Na jednoho’, premiering on ČT1 on September 2 at 20:10. Based on the French concept ‘The A Talks’, the program replaces traditional moderators with a group of interviewers from the autistic spectrum.

The format aims to provide an unfiltered and authentic interview experience, where guests face questions ranging from profound life matters to intimate or mundane daily details. Creative producer Lucie Kapounová stated the goal is to provide entertaining information about notable personalities while introducing viewers to the unique perspectives and natural questioning styles of editors on the autism spectrum.

Milan Fridrich, director of the Program and Digital Services division at Česká televize, noted that the show carries a strong social dimension by breaking barriers and demonstrating how neurodiversity can enrich human interaction.
