Eskişehir agricultural supervisor files lawsuit over 3 million TL wage dispute

In Eskişehir, Turkey, Ahmet Kirazcıoğlu, a supervisor for seasonal agricultural workers, has initiated legal action following a dispute over approximately 3 million TL in unpaid wages. Kirazcıoğlu claims that a landowner, identified as A. K. G., failed to pay for work completed since the previous year.

Kirazcıoğlu stated that he sold two of his own vehicles, valued at 800,000 TL and 1.25 million TL, to cover a portion of the workers' daily wages. He further alleged that the landowner provided a check for 1.5 million TL that turned out to be counterfeit and bounced.

During a confrontation in the Alpu district while attempting to collect the debt, Kirazcıoğlu claims he was physically assaulted. He reported that the landowner pushed him while attempting to flee, resulting in a nasal injury. After receiving medical treatment and undergoing scans in Eskişehir, Kirazcıoğlu obtained a medical report and filed a formal complaint with law enforcement to pursue the matter through the judicial system.
