Antalya courts process fatal shooting and sexual assault cases
In Antalya, a legal indictment has been accepted regarding the fatal shooting of Haluk Altın, the son of former Trabzonspor player Mehmet Cemil Altın. The incident occurred at a restaurant in the Muratpaşa district when Ceyhun B., who was reportedly intoxicated, entered the establishment and engaged in an argument with the owner, Haluk Altın, after being denied entry. Ceyhun B. subsequently returned with a firearm and shot Altın. The suspect, who claimed he acted in self-defense after being assaulted, is facing a request for life imprisonment for intentional homicide and additional charges for possession of an unlicensed weapon.

The verdict follows a case involving the death of Hatice Temel, who died after being subjected to sexual assault and physical violence in November 2023. Medical reports established a causal link between the stress and physical exertion of the assault and the victim's fatal cardiovascular complications.
