Eskişehir industrial site fire and Erzurumspor support call

A major fire broke out at a building materials business in the Baksan Sanayi Sitesi in Eskişehir's Tepebaşı district. The blaze, fueled by flammable and chemical substances, spread quickly due to wind, prompting a massive response from approximately 150 personnel, including firefighters, AFAD, and the Forestry Directorate. Police vehicles, specifically TOMA (Riot Control Vehicles), and concrete mixers were utilized to assist in the firefighting efforts and prevent the flames from spreading to adjacent shops. Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce visited the site to oversee the coordinated response. After roughly four hours of intense intervention, the fire was brought under control, though the affected business was rendered unusable.

In a separate matter, Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Sekmen issued a call for unity to Erzurumspor supporters. Addressing criticisms regarding the team's performance in the Super Lig, Sekmen urged fans to support the club and its management regardless of wins or losses, noting that the transfer window has closed and the current squad must move forward together.
