Eskişehir International Glass Festival features Italian artist duo

The 11th International Glass Festival, organized by the Odunpazarı Municipality in Eskişehir, Turkey, featured a collaborative performance by Italian glass artist Aldo Boscolo and his wife, Marta Rossetto.

During the Open Flame Shaping Workshop, Boscolo utilized high temperatures of approximately 1,000 degrees Celsius to transform Rossetto’s paper designs into physical glass artworks. The couple, who have worked together for 20 years, highlighted their creative partnership, with Rossetto providing the artistic vision and drawings while Boscolo applies his specialized technical skills to shape the molten glass.

Boscolo noted the hospitality of the local people and expressed appreciation for Turkish culture and cuisine during their participation in the festival.
