Eskişehir mayor Ayşe Ünlüce asked about unpaid 550k TL AKM rental fees

AK Party Eskişehir provincial chairman Gürhan Albayrak has publicly questioned whether the 550,000 Turkish lira rental fees for three political programmes held at the Atatürk Cultural Art and Congress Center (AKM) – a venue owned by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality – have been paid. The programmes, organised by former CHP provincial chair Talat Yalaz and his team, were held in 2025 and 2026. Albayrak asked both Yalaz and Eskişehir mayor Ayşe Ünlüce to provide invoices, payment receipts, or an official written request showing the fees were collected, and challenged the mayor to explain why the charges were not invoiced if they were waived.

The AK Party stated it will bring the issue before the municipal council and expects a formal, written response from the mayor’s office and from Yalaz regarding the alleged unpaid amount.
