Muğla and Eskişehir launch support programs for university students

Following the announcement of university placement results, Turkish cities Muğla and Eskişehir are implementing various support measures for incoming students.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has introduced a 1 TL transportation rate for students using the Muğla Plus Card on specific city routes, including the Menteşe-Akyaka line. Additionally, students whose families reside in Muğla can receive a total of 17,000 TL in educational and stationery support. The municipality also provides housing assistance through Youth Houses in Seydikemer.

Eskişehir has been recognized as Turkey’s most student-friendly city for seven consecutive years, earning an A+ rating in the 2026 ÜniAR research. To support students, the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality offers services including the Bademlik Girls' Student Guesthouse, affordable meals at Kent Lokantaları, and various youth centers and social libraries. Transportation support is also provided through subscription cards and extended night services.
