Eskişehir officials meet to evaluate social risk maps

Orhan Bayrak, the Provincial Director of Family and Social Services in Eskişehir, led a meeting regarding the ‘Social Risk Map and Performance Assessment’. The meeting included institutional administrators and professional staff aimed at increasing the effectiveness of social services and reaching citizens at risk more rapidly.

During the session, Bayrak emphasized the necessity of accelerating household visits and increasing case completion rates to meet the expectations of the Ministry. He noted that the resulting neighborhood-based social risk maps will provide teams with greater speed and ease in reaching specific cases.

Bayrak also addressed the heavy workload of Social Service Centers, specifically mentioning the intensive efforts required for commissions focused on suicide prevention and combating begging. He urged staff to move beyond their comfort zones to ensure that social service investment planning in Eskişehir is built on accurate, completed field data.
