Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality inaugurates infrastructure projects in Çat and Karayazı

Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality has inaugurated several infrastructure and agricultural investment projects in the Çat and Karayazı districts. In Çat, officials opened two water treatment plants in Başköy and Karaşeyh, along with 6,600 meters of drinking water lines and 6,000 meters of sewage lines. Additional local investments include the distribution of 706 troughs and the construction of five livestock shelters.

In Karayazı, the municipality reported that approximately 60 percent of village roads have been paved. Ongoing efforts in the region focus on improving transportation, addressing needs in schools and mosques, and developing new projects to support local agriculture and livestock, such as irrigation channels and milk collection networks.

In Eskişehir, the Çiftçi Destekleme ve Eğitim Merkezi (ÇİDEM) was opened in Seyitgazi. This center is designed to provide practical training for farmers in modern production methods, including the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants, as well as product processing and value-added techniques to improve agricultural efficiency and sustainability.
