Eskişehir Osmangazi University appoints new Rector

Prof. Dr. Emine Gümüşsoy has officially assumed the role of Rector at Eskişehir Osmangazi University (ESOGÜ) following an appointment signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and published in the Official Gazette.

During a handover ceremony, Gümüşsoy took over the position from the outgoing rector, Prof. Dr. Kamil Çolak. In her inaugural remarks, Gümüşsoy expressed gratitude to President Erdoğan and the President of the Council of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar. Having been a member of the university for 34 years, she emphasized her commitment to teamwork and leaving a positive legacy.

As part of the new administration, several Vice Rectors have been appointed, including Prof. Dr. Atilla Özcan Özdemir, Prof. Dr. Şerife Yücesoy Özkan, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Önder.
