Eskişehir hosts aviation airshow, academic conference, and new university kitchen

Eskişehir is hosting several significant aviation and university-related events. The 11th SHG Airshow is taking place at the Sivrihisar Aviation Center, featuring historical aircraft replicas, the Turkish Stars, and various aerobatic performances, including a flight by a 1943 Focke-Wulf 190.

Simultaneously, Eskişehir Osmangazi University (ESOGÜ) is hosting the 11th National Aviation and Space Conference (UHUK 2026). The event focuses on the theme of ‘Future Aviation and Space Technologies’ and brings together approximately 350 academics and industry representatives to discuss scientific developments.

Additionally, ESOGÜ has officially opened its new Central Kitchen building at the Meşelik Campus. The 2,500-square-meter facility is designed with sustainable architecture and has the capacity to prepare meals for 15,000 people daily, serving students, academic, and administrative staff.
