Eskişehir prepares for International Half Marathon with road closures

The Eskişehir International Half Marathon will take place on August 15-16, prompting significant local transportation adjustments. To facilitate movement for participants and spectators, shuttle services will operate between the Bus Terminal, the Ulus Monument (Train Station), and Sazova Science, Culture and Art Park.

On Sunday, August 16, several major arteries and connecting roads will be closed to vehicle traffic between 07:00 and 11:30. Affected areas include Ulusal Egemenlik Boulevard, Atatürk Boulevard, and the Historic Odunpazarı Region. Authorities have advised residents to avoid parking vehicles on these routes starting the evening of August 15 and to use alternative routes, particularly for emergency access to hospitals.
