Eskişehirspor defeats Altay 4-1 in TFF 3. Lig

In a TFF 3. Lig 2. Group match at the Alsancak Mustafa Denizli Stadium, Eskişehirspor defeated Altay 4-1, ending Altay’s three-match unbeaten streak. Altay initially took a 1-0 lead in the first half, but the momentum shifted significantly in the second half.

Eskişehirspor’s comeback was fueled by a penalty converted by Beykan Şimşek and a standout performance by Atalay Yıldırım, who scored three goals after coming on as a substitute. Altay’s collapse was attributed to individual defensive errors and a lack of experience, particularly in the final stages of the match.

Altay manager Tuna Üzümcü expressed pride in his players' effort and the support from fans despite the loss. He noted that while the team defended well until the 75th minute, mistakes in the closing stages proved costly. Altay currently sits in 10th place with 9 points, while Eskişehirspor moved to 14 points in 2nd place.
