ESL Shipping and Stegra sign major maritime transport agreement
ESL Shipping has entered into a major transport agreement with Stegra to manage the logistics of raw materials and finished steel products. The partnership supports Stegra’s operations at its first large-scale plant in Boden, Sweden, which is designed for the production of near-zero-emission steel.
As part of its fleet renewal program, ESL Shipping is investing in twelve 5,400 dwt Green Coaster vessels and four 17,000 dwt Green Handy vessels. The Green Handy vessels are specifically equipped with methanol dual-fuel propulsion to support decarbonization goals in the maritime sector.
