Esmagadora Campos Gerais begins soybean production in Paraná

The Esmagadora Campos Gerais industrial complex has commenced operations in Ponta Grossa, Paraná. This project represents the largest intercooperation initiative in the state's history, involving seven cooperatives: Frísia, Agrária, Capal, Coasul, Integrada, Castrolanda, and Bom Jesus.

Formerly a Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) unit, the facility began production on August 3. The partnership aims to increase the cooperatives' involvement in soybean industrialization, allowing them to add more value to the production provided by their members. Frísia will be responsible for managing the complex.

The industrial site spans 58.08 hectares and features a static storage capacity of 300,000 tons. It is equipped to receive, process, and store grains, with a daily processing capacity of 3,400 tons of soybeans.
