In Konya, 27-year-old İbrahim Çoban has opened a dessert shop specializing in cookies after a two-year period of unemployment. Motivated by the desire to marry his partner, Çoban researched cookie cultures in Europe, America, the Arabian Peninsula, and Central Asia to develop recipes suited to Turkish tastes. Following approximately 300 trials, he initially sold his products via social media before opening a physical storefront six months later.
In Bursa, 19-year-old Azra Aruser is making a name for herself in the male-dominated automotive repair industry. Working at a workshop in the Nilüfer district, Aruser performs tasks ranging from engine repair to routine vehicle maintenance. Supported by her father, a doctor, she aims to combine her mechanical skills with automotive software and computer technology in the future. Workshop owner Sinan Dönmez noted that while he initially had doubts about her ability to handle the physical demands of the job, her performance quickly proved him wrong.
