Esmee van Leijden and partner welcome third daughter Lumen

Esmee van Leijden and her partner Inez have welcomed their third daughter, Lumen. The couple shared the news on social media, accompanied by a photo from the hospital.

The family utilizes partner egg donation to expand their household. In their previous pregnancies, Inez provided the eggs while Esmee carried the children. For Lumen, they followed the same process to ensure a genetic connection to one mother while the other serves as the gestational carrier. The couple already has two daughters, River Sue and Moon.
